ICT Minister applauded DevoTech Technology Park as the showcase of Bangladesh ICT Industry.

Hasanul Haq Inu, information minister; HT Imam, political adviser to the prime minister; Mustafa Jabbar, telecom minister; Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT, and Raihan Shamsi, chairman & CEO of DevoTech, attend the launch of DevoTech, a Bangladeshi technology enabler platform, in the capital’s Gulshan yesterday .

The DevoTech, a technology platform rising from Bangladesh has launched its official journey today at the DevoTech Technology Park in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Honorable Minister for Information, Mr. Hasanul Huq Inu MP, Honorable Political Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Mr. H T Imam, Honorable Minister for Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, Honorable State Minister for Information, Communication and Technology Division Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP, industry leaders, diplomats and civil society representatives were present at the inauguration ceremony of DevoTech.

During his speech, Raihan Shamsi, Chairman & CEO of DevoTech shared his vision of marking ‘Made In Bangladesh’ identity in the technology domain, both locally and internationally and how a technology platform like DevoTech can play an important role alongside Gov’t and business community. He emphasized, that the current 4th Industrial Revolution is opening a door of opportunity for Bangladesh to utilize its talents and expedite the socio-economic prosperity. He also mentioned, this global trend will also create an intense competitive environment and Bangladeshi talents must prepare to mark their territory.

In his speech, the Political Adviser to the Prime Minister, Mr. H T Imam said by creating DevoTech the country has moved towards a new dimention today, where the passion is to return something back to the country. He said such initiatives are worthy of support & cooperation from all levels of the Govt.

Minister for Post, Telecommunication and IT, Mr. Mustafa Jabbar appreciated the DevoTech initiative as it is aligned with the Govt.’s vision for Digital Bangladesh. He is happy to see DevoTech’s unique initiative to collaborate ease the ecosystem of ICT industry. He mentioned, today we proved Software & Services can be made & delivered from Bangladesh. He also mentioned that he looks forward to bringing foreign guests to DevoTech Technology Park as the showcase of Bangladesh ICT Industry.

Later, two of the DevoTech platforms products ‘Daktarbhai’ and ‘Imagine Radio’ was demonstrated with the audience.
